Viewing Downloaded Manga - PNG

Some manga you can view in a browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Other manga you download to your computer view. Once you download it, you open those files to read the manga.

Almost all manga that you download in a file format called PNG. In other words, you will have files on your computer names with an extension (the 3 letters after the dot) of .png.

How do you open these files? First, just double click on them. Your computer' settings may already be set up for opening the proper program for viewing png files. If not, if running Windows, try Windows Picture and Fax Viewers.

To do this, double click My Computer on your desktop. From the menu, click Tools, File Options. Click File Types. Scroll down the list of file extensions and click one time on PNG. Click the Change button. Double click on Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. Click close.

Now you if you double click the PNG file, your downloaded manga will open in a viewer that reads it.
